Today I got a really late start. Mom went to the doctor. Mom and Reed where not feeling good today.
I got a C in spelling. That is bad. I think I made a mistake, I’m a terrible speller, sometimes I can’t even spell off, or of, or when. Sorry for the mistake. Pride comes before a fall, I think that was my pride and this C is my fall. Oops well I think I’ll learn something from this. Don’t be prideful.
We learned about Pyongyang today in 10/40, it was fun, Pyongyang is in North Korea, it’s name means “peaceful ocean.”It is the capital of North Korea and has a population of 3,346,000 people with poor living standards. I also learned that South Korea’s longest river is the Naktong river,it is 325 miles long. People actually don’t live on the smaller islands in South Korea most of the time. Chenju island is the biggest island. Halla-san is the tallest mountain in South Korea, it is 6,398 feet tall and it’s on Chenju island. I labeled some points of interest on a map of Korea.
We had to read a weird poem about hollyhocks, at least it was short.
Science was about how muscles move. It was really fun and cool! We learned about how they actually contract and relax, they actually do that by having cells fit into each other.
