Yesterday I got one of my costumes, the picture didn’t do it justice, it is so so pretty!!! I can’t wait to get the other one it is so much prettier than this one in the picture I can’t fathom how pretty it must be in real life!!! Mom, Reed and Adi all gained up on me and wouldn’t believe me about something. That’s all I remember about together stuff. I sent a letter to a friend today. I had a lot of math, I can’t wait till summer. We get out in June. I always can’t wait till next year because for some reason it seems like school won’t seem like school in 7th grade or whatever grade is next, and it does seem like that for a while but then it gets back to being like school and I can’t wait until summer again. I guess that’s just how it goes.

In math I learned about how you can have zeros in your answer when you’re doing long division. It is really easy once you understand it. Although I barely got an A, even though out of twenty-seven questions with only twenty-two counting and I got two wrong.

Today I had to look at a picture and pretend that it was the picture on the cover of a book. Then I had to tell them what I wanted the title to be, the name’s of the characters, and the basic plot line. Tomorrow I was supposed to write what it says on the back cover but I did it today as extra. Now I am planning on writing the whole book.
For word study I had to look up a couple of words in the dictionary. It took a way longer time than usual, and it wasn’t very fun but it was ok.

We learned about water for Sudan today. It is cool. We read a book based on the founders life, and he helped someone write it. It was hard to read at times because the founder was alive during the civil war in Sudan, but I loved it. Later we visited their website, and heard one of the workers stories.

Today in science we learned about genetically modified cows that make milk that can be turned into steel, and about how and why businesses invest in gene science. The simple answer to the why part of that question is they can make money from it. The other part of the question is simply answered too, basically they fund it.
Today I got to do a choose your own adventure for Africa. I did the one where you make a mask, like they do. It was cool, I really liked it and it was fun even though it took a long long time to do it.

Today our principle/dad/substitute teacher/guidance councilor taught us today because our mom is going to funeral out of state today and tomorrow. I miss our teacher/mom/guidance councilor but I did have a lot of fun with our substitute teacher.
In science we learned about enzymes. They are sort of cool, and I like how they make fruits and vegetables ripen, meat be more tender, and make it so we can make cheese. The questions were ok, not too hard but not super easy.
CURRENT EVENTS: ISSUE WAY TO MANY,WHAT’S THAT ABOUT A CEASE FIRE?
by Vwala •
There was a cease fire between the Armenians and the Azerbaijans. Now both sides are claiming that the other broke it, and they were fired at a lot. The root of this is from a conflict between the christian Armenians and the muslim Azerbaijans. Because of this there are a lot of borderline tensions between the two. Now Russia and the U.S. are encouraging them to actually keep a cease fire. But it doesn’t seem to be heading in that direction. Hopefully this conflct will be resolved soon!
