Denver and 9 other cities want to change Colombus day to Indiginous peoples day, Alaska is also in on the action. Alaska has voted to change the name and everything. The people that are for this change say… that the name is misleading. It is actuly a fact that there are 48 Indian tribes in colorado. It is also a fact that Columbus day was founded in 1937 to celabrate Christifer columbus finding America. The question on my mind right now though is, what will the 12th of October be and celabrate in the years to come?
