Hello Vella Karman here, a homeschooled 11 year old. I am in 6th grade. I like to dance ballet, especially point, and I also write my own stories. I can't see what I am doing in ballet but I can feel the beauty of it, and I praise God with it. Maybe later I will post some of my stories, I want people to see my work but I am afraid they will think it's terrible and say I am awful at writing. But I still want your comments even if that's what you have to say, I'll try not to take it personally, I am looking for constrictive criticism so say what you really think.

Job is doubting God, at least I think. That is not good. I wonder why Job is doing that.

Job thinks God is mad at him and that He is ignoring him. Job is confusing.

In science we started a new book about nutrition. It seems ok, it has lots of experiments.

In our new book about economics we read about recessions and depressions. I was wondering during reading why money has to represent something or have some value. I mean if everybody wanted to we could just have paper and there is no gold. Because I don’t really see why it has to be valuable.

We started a new book named “Whatever happened to penny candy?” It seems to start ok, it’s about economics and money. I think I will like this book even though economics isn’t my best subject. Economics is confusing!!!!! Whatever happened to bartering? The only thing that makes me think they stuck with money was because if the person who has what they need or want might not want what they have to barter, but everyone wants money.

Science was still about balance. We did some experiments about balance. On one we had to pick up a chair by only one of its legs, on another one we had to get out of a chair without leaning at all. The science questions were ok but they took a really long time.

We read a ok poem today about sea lions.

In binder work I learned about Pandas. It was pretty fun! I had a bit of trouble with finding the information though. Did you know that Pandas are considered omnivores?

Today I didn’t get much school done partly because we went to the Chiropractor and the store this morning, also because I spent a lot of time helping mom with our dessert for tomarow when we have people over for diner, and also partly because I’ve been trying to get this thing that I need to work to do part of my school to work and it took a bunch of time but it still didn’t work.

In binder work I had to choose a animal to learn about and I chose Pandas. I chose Pandas because they are my second favorite animal and they’re endangered.

I did two days of spelling today. I am behind in spelling and it was good to do two because it helped me catch up. I got a B in one and a A in the other one.
