Today we read about Saul’s anointment. I am getting tired of history. We are doing last weeks stuff. Today is Passover but we are celebrating it tomorrow. My friend and her family are coming over. Tonight I will get one of my ballet costumes. I am really exited. I wrote a poem about beds inside of a picture of a bed. I also learned about symbols. I had a lot of science questions but I think I got most of them right. I had trouble with critical thinking.

In Bible times prophets were called seers. We learned about Saul getting anointed. Samuel said to Saul, get up so that you can leave. We read a crazy crazy crazy making no sense poem today about a man with two arms, two legs, two feet, and a head with eyes and such.

We learned about acids and bases in science. We also learned about polymers. They are really nice. We learned about the pH scale. Science take forever and is really really hard to under stand and they keep repeating things.

In history we learned about the events we are learning about in a historical fiction book, it is cool to know more about it. It is also cool that they fit together, it happens a lot with Sonlight. We also learned about St. Patrick, they did it a few weeks late. There is a ton of fighting in history, it is over half of it.

Wow only two days, I really need to pack today. Last year I started packing weeks ahead, it is overwhelming when I think about how long and at the same time not very long ago that was. I remember it like it was just yesterday but at the same time I have grown so much sense then. I should better go pack.

Today Reed told us a really funny play on words joke that had to do with Islam and Buddhism. In Bible we read about more of Joseph’s life. He has now bought all of Egypt and everything else in Egypt for Pharaoh. And Jacob died. Tomorrow we are going to finish Genesis. Mom started to read extra Field guide, even though we read through next weeks yesterday.

In history we learned about old English, it is crazy confusing. It was nothing like now-a-days English. We stole a lot of words from other countries, why can’t we make up our own? I wouldn’t like living in a feudalistic society. We learned about Magyars. They were fast, and they used that to ride around stealing things and killing people. It was awful, and nobody could catch them. Until finally a king conquered them. People have very odd names and nicknames in the world. There was really a King named Louis La Fat, how embarrassing!!! History is pretty much impossible to pronounce name person started a war, conquered, over through, or fought against impossible to pronounce name person. The Seljuk people had a “Friday” mosk, isn’t that crazy.

In science we learned about our body systems, and one of those is the digestive system. Did you know that our small intestines are about four times our body length, that is really long!!! No wonder it takes three days to digest something! We learned this equation, glucose + oxygen + carbon dioxide + energy, I think they might have made some typos, because I copied it from the book it still doesn’t make sense to me. In Bible today I had to make a comic about one of the stories about David in 1 Samuel. I chose David and Johnithin, I don’t know how to spell Johnithins name right. It took a long time, I did stick figures and wrote a little bit of the story. But I had to rewrite some things to have enough room to write what they say, but it is a very shortened version. I showed David and Johnithin talking before, the hiding place, Saul saying David must die, and Johnithin shooting arrows. I know there is a few more parts, but I had to make it shorter. I thought it was interesting that it was Davids idea to lie to Saul, I didn’t really think about it before.

Today we read several chapters of the Trojan War, it is a long book. It is really hard to understand, and mom is also having trouble with the names. We did science and it was about how bodyflight works. It would be really cool but a bit scary to bodyfly.

I wrote a limerick, before you read it I would like you to know that they’re not supposed to make sense.

An Ode to Popcorn

Delicious and yummy

Popcorn in my tummy

It is even delicious to a cat

Now all I have to do is convince mom to let me have popcorn. The orthodontist is fine with it, but mom isn’t. :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Today we did a bunch of science, about several days. I t took a long time. As you know it’s Friday but we are doing a four day week because of the field trip and stuff. I have a lock-in tonight.
