We had case for creator today. It was fun I liked it alot. The kalam argument’s three rules are everything that has a begining has a cause,  the universe has a begining, so the universe has a god.

Jinan is in china in the shandong provence. It means south of the river Ji. Tai shan is one of china’s 5 sacred mointains, it is 100 kilomidars south of Jinan. Jinan’s population is 2,914,000, and it is one of China’s weathiest provenses.

We learned about the Kalam argument today its three points are…

  1. Everything that has a beginning has a cause.
  2. The universe has a beginning.
  3. The universe has a cause.

We backed it up and it is valid argument.

China has five sacred mountains.

Today was the first day of school this week /day one and the terrible busy monday. ; ‘ ( But today was okay, other than getting a late start.

We started a cool new book today, it is about missionaries in china. I had the hiccups today.

Binder was easy, and sort of fun. I keep on worrying that I’ll do a bad job but it’s still sort of fun.

Critical thinking  was really hard I had to make certain amounts of money using nickels and dimes.

I had to do spelling late because we had a late start, and there where no free tables so I had to not use a table.

Today I started making a lego chinese fashion timeline, it was lots of fun, but took a lot of time.

In science today we learned about how your cells make energy.

The House of Sixty Fathers

The House of Sixty Fathers is about a boy named Tien Pao. He lives in China during WW2. His village is destroyed by Japanese fighters. He and his family are the only survivers. Taking someone else’s sampan found floating on the ocean during the attack they rowed upstream as far as they could go. And there his parents found work. On only the second day, while his parents were out at work with their baby, he and the family pig are yelling and running around in the sampan it becomes untied to the mooring and the river takes him all the way back to his village, being guarded by Japanese soldiers. He makes his way slowly back to the city he came from.

Along the way he saves and travels with a soldier. With and without his friend he makes his way back to his city. Which at the moment he gets there being attacked by the Japanese!

Everything vital seems to support cells. Eating, breathing and your heart beating all support cells.

I read ahead in my book so today I wrote a book report on it.

current events: The yuan’s worth changing

China changed how much the yuan is worth, it dropped 1.9% on Tuesday, 1.6% on Wednesday, and 1% on Thursday. The yuan is now 2% less than the dollar. The Money Times says. “The fear is that China’s economy is slowing more than expected and that U.S companies that do business there would be hurt by a stronger dollar related to the yuan depreciation, which makes U.S. products sold in China more expensive.”

Today we were suppost to go to the musiem of discovery, but because Reed was feeling sick we didn’t get to go and instead we decided to go on sunday and postpone a puppet show that I had planed and it is probubly going to be very werth it because dad gets to go with us, and I still get to do the puppet show later that day.

In school today I didn’t have much to do, I did a bit of reading (about indians) and it was fun but took a long time. It was mostly about they’re homes and how it’s changed from tippis to log houses.

In current events I had to write my report and I am going to type that up after I finish this journal. My report was about china changing how much the yuan (they’re currency) is worth.

Today I also did a bit of china, I had to quote a chinise person and explain what I thought they meant by that quote.
