Homeschool Journal 2/27/17

In Bible we read about Joshua and Israel crossing the parted Jordan and leaving the memorial right after they learned that the people of the land were afraid of them because God parted the Red Sea. In history we reviewed knights. They practiced with mock sieges. We also learned about Samurai. We read seven poems about birds, especially bluebirds, bluejays and doves. In science we started the chemistry section.

Homeschool Journal 2/23/17

In Bible we learned about the Israelites spying out Canaan after the 40 years in the wilderness. In History we learned about the Middle Middle Ages and the code of chivalry. We read four poems about fowl, especially ducks. In Science we learned about the solar system.

GOVERNMENT UNBLOCKS DAKOTA ACCESS PROJECT

The United States decided to overrule their former decision of blocking Dakota Access’s project which will run an oil pipeline across four states. It has been completed other than one section under a lake which the Standing Rock Sioux, the local Native Americans have vowed to fight against as they claim if there is a leak it could ruin their fresh water supply.

Homeschool Journal 2/16/17

In school I memorized part of 1 Corinthians 10:13 and finished my reader. Code was really easy they reviewed something very basic. I could not do all of LA because I needed to talk to Mom. And my Lumosity LPI went up five. It is 11:00.
