NATO WORRIED OVER RUSSIAN “ZAPAD” WAR GAMES

The US and many other members of NATO expressed concern over Russia’s Zapad (meaning West) war games in Belarus, Russia’s ally. European nations had extra cause for concern as they think it could be preparation for a continental scaled war. The last time Zapad was held in Belarus troops left over in the country invaded Ukraine a year later. Ground and airborne units including The First Tank Army have been sent to Belarus to participate. The backstory of the games are to fight a fake “Western coalition” of the imaginary countries Lubenia, Vesbaria and Veishnoria who NATO claims have subtle similarities to Poland, Lithuania and Latvia.
