Homeschool Journal 5/1/17

In Bible David snuck into Saul’s camp and did not kill him with his own spear while he was sleeping. The second time he spared him. In The Children’s Bible Field Guide we learned about the arresting and beheading of Paul. In history we had an overview of European explorers. We read six poems, two French, two lullabies. In science we learned about rocks and minerals and energy we get from the earth but just fossil fuels and nuclear energy.

In Bible Gideon thinned his army and attacked the enemy. We read four poems about boys. In The Children’s Bible Field Guide we learned about Jesus’ followers, especially his disciples. People think that biometrics accessing your bank account will be the money of the future. In science we learned about airport security and anti-counterfeiting measures.

We read about Paul being tried in Rome. Did you know that Paul was a Roman citizen? Paul had a lot of horrible experiences. We have moved into American countries. In science we are learning about the layers of rock.

I did more science without answering the questions these days. We did history and Bible too. We started a new book. It is called the Westing Game, it is a murder mystery and sort of interesting and confusing.
