Summer Journal 5/28/17

Today I did a full lesson of math, picked a local current event which was hard because we don’t get the newspaper anymore and wrote the introduction and conclusion to my research paper. I still did not go to the pool. I don’t want to except for lap swim. There is a website known as chesskid that I played today. Vella was sick today.

Summer Journal 5/27/17

I did Science Questions today. I felt sick. The pool opened but I did not go. We will watch Julian (a neighborhood kid who moved away two years ago) Monday-Friday work hours the first two weeks of June and July.

Homeschool Journal 5/15/17

We fogged the house and we have already found over 20 fleas!!! How can it be??? and it was garenteed… however you spell that, but any way it was and we are going to go get our money back. We got Lava today and we have already found a flea even though he got a flea bath today, and with-in the first two hours!!! We learned about the renesaunce in history today, it happened all because of armies and books, not usually a good combination, espesialy for the books. I got an A+ in my math quiz!!!

Homeschool Journal 5/12/17

When Mom and Dad went on the cruise Lava went with Adi and I to stay with some friends who live in the country, Lava got fleas there. We got a flea collar and thought we had them under control, then the dogs came. They made it 10x worse and spread them all over the house. Now we all have them. Yes, I have fleas crawling around on me right now, biting me and driving me crazy. A sling and fleas, perrrrrfect combanation. That was not a pun, it was sarcastic. Buuut, back to the point, we are going to take the pets to boarding places where they will get treatment, and board while we fog the house and go camping. Then we will come back, vacuum and steam clean the carpets. Sooooooo, those are our plans for the weekend. I didn’t get much school done today, because as previously mentioned I have been-let’s say… preoccupied?

Homeschool Journal 5/11/17

I am very very very behind. I have a little less than a week of school to do. I’m still not done with Tuesdays school, oh yeah, of last week. School is like a pit that’s being dug, I am trying to fill it up, but for every shovel-full of dirt I put in, three more get shoveled out. So that’s been my day, shoveling dirt. Oh and also we went to the library and I got my summer reading!!! I can’t wait to start them, If I ever fill the hole until tomorrow I am staring them early!!! Also I listened to this really great song you should listen to, it’s called “Hills and Valleys.”

Homeschool Journal 5/10/17

We read about some awful battles over who would be king in Bible. Disgusting, I don’t like how many battles there are. Or battles in general. In history we learned about Martin Luther. He was a very very good person. I like his list, and I am glad I don’t believe the way he used to. We read some okish poems.

Homeschool Journal 5/10/17

In Bible David became the king of Judah and had a civil war with the son of Saul. We read five poems from the Caribbean Islands and Mexico. In science we learned about global warming and rain forests.

Homeschool Journal 5/9/17

In Bible we started 2 Samuel. In History we learned about conquistadors and the Spanish Empire. We read four Indian poems. Currents are formed by heat. If parts of water or air are warmer than others they expand and then push themselves away from the cooler air or water and form currents. Wind is cooler air replacing warmer air currents.
