We did not do together stuff today. It is really Christmas Vacation but we are doing catch-up work. I had to put three things from The Children’s Bible Field Guide in my Journal. A Psalm style poem about my family, a picture of a poster I made and four things I learned from reading some certain Psalms but some of the specifications here won’t let me.
In together stuff all we did was a chapter of Genesis, The Fall of Man. Mom went for jury duty today and Dad came home early to watch us.
A Little Rock City Director has encouraged non-uniformed workers to go on strike and wants minorities to get more wages than white ones.

God called the land earth not the world. We read four poems about fevers, the sea and gypsies. We started Volume 2 of Story of the World today.
We read James, 1 Peter and 2 Peter today. We read three poems about trains. Sap hardens into amber.
In History we learned of the weakening and fall of Rome. The Vandals sacking Rome was the start of the steep decline. The Emperor moved into a swamp. We broke our record of Poems today with 15. A glider went high enough for the crew to need spacesuits.
Nineveh was the capitol of Assyria.
This morning we went to see the Nutcracker (which is what we kept having to take Vella to for practice and other performances) in the morning and Dad got the morning off of work.
The US Army Corps of Engineers has decided to block an oil pipeline project in North Dakota and three other states in an effort to ease recent tensions with local Native Americans who claim that a section of it running under a lake could ruin their fresh water supply. The project has been completed other than that section. The government has said that going with the original plan is not out of the question.
This morning we had to take Vella downtown. In the evening the same. No school done.
