In our new book about economics we read about recessions and depressions. I was wondering during reading why money has to represent something or have some value. I mean if everybody wanted to we could just have paper and there is no gold. Because I don’t really see why it has to be valuable.

We started a new book named “Whatever happened to penny candy?” It seems to start ok, it’s about economics and money. I think I will like this book even though economics isn’t my best subject. The only thing that makes me think they stuck with money was because if the person who has what they need or want might not want what they have to barter, but everyone wants money.
Today I didn’t get much school done partly because we went to the Chiropractor and the store this morning, also because I spent a lot of time helping mom with our dessert for tomarow when we have people over for diner, and also partly because I’ve been trying to get this thing that I need to work to do part of my school to work and it took a bunch of time but it still didn’t work.
In binder work I had to choose a animal to learn about and I chose Pandas. I chose Pandas because they are my second favorite animal and they’re endangered.
I did two days of spelling today. I am behind in spelling and it was good to do two because it helped me catch up. I got a B in one and a A in the other one.

Although it will probable be 4:00 by the time I finish writing this, it is still pretty early.
