Oh, the good old days of dairy queen delights. A new dairy queen has opened in little rock for you ice cream lovers!!! The food is okay but the desserts are even better!!! The burgers have pickles if you don’t request none and the onion rings are really really good.

Yesterday I got one of my costumes, the picture didn’t do it justice, it is so so pretty!!! I can’t wait to get the other one it is so much prettier than this one in the picture I can’t fathom how pretty it must be in real life!!! Mom, Reed and Adi all gained up on me and wouldn’t believe me about something. That’s all I remember about together stuff. I sent a letter to a friend today. I had a lot of math, I can’t wait till summer. We get out in June. I always can’t wait till next year because for some reason it seems like school won’t seem like school in 7th grade or whatever grade is next, and it does seem like that for a while but then it gets back to being like school and I can’t wait until summer again. I guess that’s just how it goes.

This is our second day with the dogs not Grandma isn’t here. They have been okish. There food smells bad and we have to take them for shots on Thursday. I am a cat person. At the end of this week I have to recite Exodus 20, I have had it memorized for weeks.

Today we went down to the gardens, our new plot is double the size of our old one and we have our old one too!!! It also has wild strawberries and I think raspberries too!!! I want to grow carrots and green beans and maybe some onions, we are going to grow flowers too!!!

In Bible we learned more about God being our shepherd, He is our shepherd because He was and is willing to die for us and He protects us and loves us very much. I like being His shepherd because He is always there for us and He always listens to us no matter how much we complain. He loves us more than we can imagine and He takes care of us.

I can’t believe I’ll be twelve in four days!!! You know new years resolutions? Well last year I made a birthday resolution to understand life by the time I’m twelve, I am nowhere close and Mom said she’d be lucky if she did that by the time she was 40, and Reed said you find out enough to know that there is a lot more to it than you thought. I don’t know everything but I do know the purpose of life, mans purpose, our Creator, and a lot more. As I ponder life, for each question answered ten million more bubble up from under the surface of my thoughts, they will bubble up forevermore. But I think that whatever the answer to those questions are, life is a bountiful gift from God, and we should use it to serve Him forevermore.

Lava got fleas and we are going to give him a flea bath today. We read poems about birds, and while we were reading them the window was open so we could hear the real birds chirping in agreement. Mom’s throat hurts so we didn’t finish our stuff. It is only lunch time.

We learned more about Jesus’s power, it is not magic and He only uses it to help people. It is amazing that Jesus’s disciples had less faith in Him than the other people did. Demons are real, but God has power over them. My favorite miracle that Jesus performed was when he healed Bartimaeus.

We read about Labon catching up with Jacob, and their covenant. We read poems about things from cows to apples to houses near woods to houses on a hill, I think they are supposed to have some sort of theme.

In science we learned about density. They answered questions like how do submarines go up and down, why does wood float and rocks don’t, and why does a big metal boat float? We also did a science experiment, we made a bubble in the top of a cup, and we watched it get thinner and more colorful until it popped. We just learned about light waves and measured them, so we talked about what we think happened as we blew on it and how the color was shaped.

In LA I had to start research for a report about Arkansas, I found a lot of good things. I found out where Arkansas got its name, and I also found out when it was first explored. I learned some new interesting things about Arkansas!!!

We read about Jacob getting Esau’s blessing, it is sad that they only have one blessing to give. I didn’t know/remember that Jacob means deceiver. We read about Muhammad’s death, Islam is “all about peace and being nice to everybody,” except for non Muslims, for that last part I read in-between the lines. I read some of Lamentations and I think the Israelites were sad because they disobeyed God, they got punished, and they were prisoners. The five rules for success that I got from Daniel are; don’t defile God, be nice to others, praise God, give the honor to God, and trust in God.

Lava is so cute he will melt you with his cuteness!!! Here is a picture of him. (I seriously want you all to be melted, I would suggest sitting down for this.) He just tried to press buttons on my computer and he logged me out and added in a few good things about himself too, (not really, he actually did a slash and logged me out.)

Today Mom went on a walk with her friend Miss Sue, and I watched Adi, it was pretty fun. We made things with my clay. I made a box that looks like a little cupcake. It is cute, I am going to give it to my cousin, Sabra Joy, she is coming Friday.

I made a journal as Josiah, I even made it look old. I wrote about finding the Bible in the temple, and that I want to make free schools.

Did you know that Agustus Ceasar was ruling when Mary had Jesus? H is the one who called the cencus. And the angels came up with the saying peace on earth goodwill to men. We learned about the beginning of christianity according to our history book, it wasn’t too bad, it was mostly correct and didn’t put it down that much. Have you hear of the Labarum? It is a christian symbol, I copied the picture of it that was in the book and that is part of the picture I’m putting at the bottom of the page.

Adult usually have 206 bones in their bodies, a hand and wrist together have 27, and a foot has 26. Synthesia is a disease that make your senses get mixed up, like you might think green tastes like an apple, or pasta sounds like a flute, or air feels like green.
