Day 3
I didn’t know Mary stayed 3 months when she visited Elizebeth. I did not relice Columbus was greedy he captured slaves of the Indians. Funny how “the new law of science” is the answer to the question someone just asked and solved. Even though the fact has been around since the begining of time although not known.
We took a field trip today to Arkansas art center. My favorate piece was an eloborate tower made out of movie prints. My least favorate piece was a picture of a naked man. All of the exsibits were free exept the Rembrant, Van Dyk exibit.
Day 2
I knew that painters had to once upon a time thier paints themselves now I know they stopped 150 years ago. Lois Pasture had to repeat his experimint alot for people to believe him. I don’t particually like Lyracal life science. We had to fill in the blanks of the song lyrics.
Day 1
Today was the 1st day of school. I was really hoping we wouldn’t do journal this year but, I guess hoping itself won’t do anything. I didn’t really learn anything today. We just read book “Introductions”. my Spanish lessons were a review and Read aloud is Walk the World’s Rim. It’s about an Indian boy and some Spaniards.
Today I learned it would be about an hour and a half util Dad gets home. I learned that we have two rolls of tape. I also learned that Vella is asking me for a word and hen coming up with a sentence useing that word. I also learned I had a thorn in my finger. I also learned that ice is not slippery because it’s smooth, but because your heavy enough that the ice melts and the combanation of..what I just said and of a bunch of. words I don’t understand.
Today I learned that next week on Tuesday we will read the grossest page in the book of Usborn World of Animals. I also learned that fish don’t breath water. They actually breath like this, fish swallow water, fish push water over their gills, the gills take the oxegein out, the gills take push the water out of the fish. some of the most deadly speices live in the ocean.
How come they names elephant seals just because of MALES distinctively big noses. I saw michka at M.O.P.S. today. I’m distracted addy’s looking at me. Pause———————-I love you Dad. I love you Mom, I love you Vella, I love you Adlai. I just heard a horn that sounded just like a bocho. The car turned out to be an old fashion pick-up truck. The car in front of it looked like the hails car.
Scateboarding was originally called sidewalk surfing. I hope Dad gets home soon. It’s 7:39. The living room is pretty clean. The closet with the vacuums in it, is empty except the things that were biult inot the closet when we moved in. Adlia has been fussy alot this evening. She has cut-off my mind.
People that live in jawjaw, that use carved sticks for spears, well anyway if they miss the target the stick comes back like a boomerang.
Today we took a long time to do school. If I could do a subject that do today and tomorrow to do tomorrow for that subject the subject I would do tomorrows today the subject would be read alouds. I always thought the Giant panda was the regular panda. I did not get to walk alot today. I only got six lines for handwriting today. We didn’t do art today. I’m thirsty. I really want to have my journal back. There’s a fish that lives most of it’s life out of water. This fish is called a mud scipper. Some fish of this spieces have two fins to act like suction cups to climb trees. I learned that mud scippers look gross. A mud scippers two front fins look like legs. Tarsirs eat crabs. We’re having show and tell on friday. I still don’t know what I am going to bring! I did not know that there was a monkey with a nose so big that they have to move it out of the way to eat.
