In our book about Japan and the U.S becoming friends they exchanged presents. And also had feasts with each other.

We learned about the parts of the brain in science. It was sort of cool, but it was still gross. We saw a picture of a real human brain not inside of a person, it looked almost exactly like the plastic ones except   it had a thing that looked like a big walnut on it.

Someone tried to kill the main character in our book. That was scary.

We read a not that weird poem about a sparrow. It was still sort of weird though, I still liked it.

I do not think Solomon wrote Ecclesiastes because it said it was probably written by an old man and Solomon turned away from God when he was an old man.

One of the American soldiers in Japan with Perry thought some of the Japanese uniforms looked like walking chessboards and others looked like walking American flags. one of the Japanese men drank olive oil thinking it a drink while one of the American men drank hair oil thinking it a drink.

Today I didn’t get much done because we went on a very long field trip to a friends house while our mom went to the doc. to see if she would need surgery, she didn’t. They stuck cameras into her and looked at her insides, they even took pictures. We had fun and didn’t do school while we were at they’re house. It was awesome science mom didn’t need surgery.

After we got home from our field trip I did a lot of bible reading, and also a ton of house skills. It took a ton of time but it was pretty fun for school.

I had to watch Adi this afternoon, it was very hard but a teeny bit fun.

We started a new book today Commodore Perry in the Land of the Shogun. In the book he wanted to see a high official but they kept sending him fake low officials. The Japanese called his fleet “the black ships of evil men”. To impress the Japanese the men on board the ships called Perry an Admiral.

In Case for Creator there are scenario stories about faith.

In Japan flower arranging parties were a thing for the wealthy that samurai had to go to. If I were rich one thing I would not do is go to flower arranging parties.
