In India people burn the dead in a fire that is supposed to never go out and they burn them in t because it is supposed to be holy if it does not go out, but it secretly does.

We learned about Bandar Seri Begawan. It is the capital of Brunei. We read a weird poem about christmas lights.

We learned about Yangon. It is the capital of Myanmar. It means no more enemy. 4,348,000 people live there. There is a lot of poverty. Most Christians are Protestant.

The Vietnamese call the Vietnam war the American War.

We learned about Bangkok. It is the capital of Thailand. It means city of angels. There are 7 million people in it. It is also known as Krongfep.

There are 5 approved religions in China.

We read a poem about a toad today. It was weird. In Southeast Asia has an average of 393 per square mile.

A pagoda is a Buddhist shrine.

Homeschool Journal 11/25/15

I only had four subjects today: Verse, Science Questions, Test 7 in math and writing a essay. The essay was pretty easy. So was the math test. All of it was easy. After my Journal Mom had me do an oral report on an experience I had.

Homeschool Journal 11/24/15

I finished school at, like, 11:40 today. I had a hard thing of math in which I had to learn to calculate distances in algebra. I did two preps for two essays today. One is about digestion. I did not learn much today. In fact other than math all I did was review things I already know.

We are reading Job, Elaphaz spoke today. He asked Job if he was Cain.

We read about rice. In some countries the words rice, eat and eat rice are the same. You have to have a lot of rice for it to be a source of protein. Brown rice and white rice are from the same plant, just brown rice still has it’s husk on. Javanaca rice is from Indonesia. The US exports rice.

A half grown baby is called fetus.

We started Case for Christ today. We learned about Phnom Penh. It means hill of a woman named Penh. Penh was woman who found a Buddha in one of the rivers around the city and made a shrine for it. It is the capital of Cambodia. They allow more worship than they used to because it used to be Communist. The UN threw over that government in the 90’s. It is in Southeast Asia.

There are a lot of tin and gem mines in Southeast Asia.

A hiccup is a gasp of air forced in by your body then your epiglottis stopping it. A yawn is actually for keeping awake. When you have shallow breathing it triggers your body to fall asleep. When you are you have a yawn to stop it.
