In Bible we started John which starts with John the Baptist baptizing Jesus and an introduction. Jesus said to Nathaniel he was a “true Israelite” after Nathaniel asked if anything good could come out of Nazareth. In History we learned about what happened in India after the king Aurangzeb (Conqueror of the World) died. A bunch of kings died in a row. We also reviewed the Ottoman Empire. John the Baptist said he wasn’t Elijah when asked but he was the prophesied Elijah to come before the Christ.

by Reed Karman •
On September 27 President of the United States Donald Trump spoke at the Indiana State Fair about his new tax plan, featuring three instead of seven tax brackets and an elimination of some taxes, he did not mention how much it would cost the government. Many taxes would be lowered especially for businesses and most inheritance taxes would end. Federal estate taxes would also end. Democratic leaders say that the plan would benefit the upper class too much while barely affecting lower and middle class people and that it would be very good for Trump’s private businesses and customers. The current tax brackets are: 10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33%, 35%, and 39.6% and the new ones would be: 12%, 25%, 35%.
