We started Case for Christ today. We learned about Phnom Penh. It means hill of a woman named Penh. Penh was woman who found a Buddha in one of the rivers around the city and made a shrine for it. It is the capital of Cambodia. They allow more worship than they used to because it used to be Communist. The UN threw over that government in the 90’s. It is in Southeast Asia.

Whatever Happened to Penny Candy made a bold statement “Money is the base of all life. With enough money you can do anything.”

We read a poem about sidewalks. Your brain is the actual body part that feels pain. It just tells the body part receiving damage that it is getting hurt.

We started a new book about nutrition today. In it I learned the four macronutrients of the human body: water, carbohydrates, protein and fat.

I was sick today and did nothing but World Book. There are Inuits in Russia. Moscow was built in the 1300’s. English is the most widely known second language in Russia. A quarter of Russia is rural area. In Russia they have heavy lunches and light dinners.
