Today is Mom’s birthday, we had chocolate chip banana bread muffins for breakfast, and sang her happy birthday during which she sang “to me, to me, to me.” So we made up a spoof on the Elmo cat had a birthday song, here is the link; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7UV1xgGJTk you might find it interesting with our lyrics;
A Mom had a birthday and all the kids came
To eat Mom cake and play a Mom game
To open Mom presents and when they were through
they said happy birthday the way that Moms do
To me, to me, to me
Everybody do it now
To me, to me, to me
Really nothing to it
To me, to me, to me
Good luck Tom
You just said happy birthday
In Mom
We read a poem about Beowulf, it was very very long. We started a new book about king Arthur, it is very interesting and a bit confusing. I am working on writting with my left hand and I am getting good at it if I do say so myself. We read poems about boats, cargo, planes, and trees, during which Lava got into the catnip, and he went completely crazy. He was chasing his tail, running around like crazy, biting, thinking everything was a game, (including the game of swatting Vella’s hand when she is trying to take notes for school,) trying desperately to get Mom’s wedding ring on her finger (apparently diamonds are cat’s best friend too!) We really need to get the catnip out of there, I have decided, and started, to write a list of do’s and don’ts for cat owners and anybody who has a desire to read a hilarious but helpful guide to cats, their craziness, plus a few funny cat stories for good measure.
