School was ok. I already did some stuff some things so I won’t have as much stuff to write about.
I did a word search in vocabulary today. It was hard, I had to use Greek words. Greek!!!
I labeled a map of New Zealand. It was hard and sort of fun. It took a while to finnish.
Shenyang is in China. II wonder why they put us back in China? It means north bank of Shang river. 4,952,000 people live there.
Science was nutrition today. It was about milk, we learned that homogenizing is breaking apart the fat in milk. The questions weren’t super hard today, science was even sort of fun.
Mogadish is the capital of Somalia. We don’t know what Mogadish means. 1,500,000 people live in the city of Mogadish. Mogadish is violent, and in great poverty.

In Venezuela hospitals are failing because of a country wide power shortage and lack of medicine. There is no way to have oxygen tanks. Sick are dying rapidly. one man stole about 2 tons of medicine and is selling on the black market.
The Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) former chief who has served for 27 years gave two very large funds to kickstart two programs. The Butler Center Photo Exhibit Fund and the Roberts Children Nutrition Fund. The former is going to start a community garden near the Children’s Library for children to grow stuff and take it home.
Some countries in the South Pacific take care of internal affairs but have other countries take care of export and military matters. The reason some people can’t have lactose is because they do not have enough lactase in their bodies to digest it. Shenyang is in China again. We are reading about the Pacific islands. There are thousands of them!!! When other people came they caused devistation because they brought disease. They speak at least 850 languages in one island.
In 100 Gateway Cities we learned about Addis Ababa. It means new flower. It is the capitol of Ethiopia. It has 3,453,000 people. 70% are Christian and 24% are Muslim. 5% are ethnic. We read 12 poems today, garage sale, horse chestnut, skeletons, mud, geese, violets, web, doll, potatoes, July, pocket and book. Nesia means island.
